Fox 5 Reporter Turns Tables on Purse-Snatchers (FOX 5 Washington D.C.)
Reporters are used to covering crime and talking to victims, but Fox 5's Tara Mergener ended up becoming a victim herself while on the job. While covering the recent crime and police checkpoints in DC's Trinidad neighborhood, her purse was stolen out of their truck. The air conditioning had been broken and Tara left the window down while she was conducting interviews on the scene.
